This privacy policy explains how propxpraman ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our property verification platform. This policy is compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.

1. Information we collect

To provide property verification reports, we collect:

• Documents you upload: Sale deeds, encumbrance certificates, tax receipts, and other property documents.
• Property identifiers: Survey numbers, addresses, location coordinates, and other property identifiers you provide.
• Identity information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and (only when required for KYC) Aadhaar or PAN numbers.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with our platform, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
• Payment information: Processed securely through Razorpay; we do not store card or bank details on our servers.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Generate your property verification report
• Cross-reference your property data against government and public records
• Communicate with you about your reports, account, and our services
• Improve our platform and develop new features (using anonymized data only)
• Comply with legal obligations under Indian law

We do not sell your data. We do not use your documents to train AI models. We do not share your data with brokers or property listing portals.

3. Where your data is stored

All personal data is stored on servers located in India (AWS Mumbai region — ap-south-1), in compliance with DPDP Act data localization requirements. Documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3.

4. How long we keep your data

We retain your property documents and reports for the duration of your account plus 3 years thereafter, in case of legal disputes or audit requirements. After this period, your data is permanently deleted from our systems and backups.

You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing privacy@propxpraman.com.

5. Your rights under DPDP Act

As an Indian data principal, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure")
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
• File a grievance with our Data Protection Officer

6. Third parties we share data with

We share limited information with:

• Government and public registries (ReLIS, Bhulekh, MCA21, eCourts, ISRO Bhuvan, GSI) — to verify the information you provide
• Razorpay — for payment processing
• AWS — for hosting infrastructure
• Lawyer partners — only for Premium and NRI Concierge tier reports, with your explicit consent

We do not share data with marketers, advertisers, brokers, real estate agents, or listing portals.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, audit logs, and regular security reviews. We will notify affected users within 72 hours of any confirmed data breach, in accordance with DPDP Act requirements.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do use anonymized analytics to improve the site.

9. Children

Our services are not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
